The debut album from Portuguese artist Inês Malheiro went through a few iterations before finally landing at Deusa N​áusea, released late last year. The songs evolved throughout the lockdown, "polarized, reversed, perplexed, epithelialized by espectral processes and beleza pura," as it states on her Bandcamp. 

“The album was not all made at the same time, it went through several stages and I would say that this is reflected in the lyrics as well," she told the culture website A Cabine. “I think that on this record I felt that the lyrics were more of a plastic material to guide the voice than an objective source of meaning."
