First Look: Inside The National Museum of African American History


On Saturday, the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture will open to the public. It is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. Michele Norris, former host of All Things Considered, author of The Grace of Silence, and founding director of the Race Card Project wrote about the museum for National Geographic and talked to Brian about what's inside.
