Speaker(s): Walter Merricks | The Chair of Impress, Walter Merricks, will outline the role and ambitions of his organisation, which has been established as a Leveson-compliant regulator. Walter Merricks was the first Chief Ombudsman of the Financial Ombudsman Service. He has been involved in dispute resolution and regulation in the fields of legal services, healthcare, insurance, energy and intellectual property, among others. Seeta Peña Gangadharan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Media and Communications at LSE. The goal of LSE's Media Policy Project (@LSEmediapolicy) is to start conversations between policy makers, civil society actors, and media professionals about the latest media research.
