Zardulu, Viral Hoaxes, and Pizza Rats

Hey, we just stumbled upon this amazing video of a rat carrying a slice of pizza!

Okay, clearly we're kidding. The infamous "pizza rat" video was uploaded to YouTube in September of 2015 and has since been viewed over 9 million times.

But what if it was staged? Would you feel angry, amused, duped?

John Del Signore, managing editor of Gothamist, joins us to dig into questions that have been raised about several viral rat videos and their alleged connection with Zardulu, a performance artist who bills herself as "The Mythmaker."

And a minor NYC celebrity joined us also: Matt Little, the guy who shot the "pizza rat" video.

What if the "Pizza Rat" video was a hoax? How would you feel?
