Last Friday morning, a key part of the Internet's infrastructure was overwhelmed by a series of attacks conducted by hackers. As a result, the East Coast experienced a massive internet outage that took out popular websites like Twitter, Spotify, Paypal and more. "We saw the real vulnerability on Friday," says Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai, reporter for Motherboard. "This time is was Dyn, next time it could be CNN or New York Times."
