Internationally famous concert pianist Sofja Gulbadamova has long been a favorite of our listeners for many years.

Prize winner of many international competitions in the USA, France, Germany and Russia, she also received a special prize for the best interpretation of Poulenc’s music.

We are pleased to present to our listeners a live performance of Sofja for Classical Music Discoveries.

  • First we will be pleased to hear: Faure’s “Ballade”, Op. 19
  • Next Sofja will perform the complete “The Bewildered Nightingale” by Reynaldo Hahn
  • Then we will hear Claude Delvincourt’s very tasty “Croquembouche”
  • This will be followed by Debussy’s “Ballade” and the concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s “Dreaming” from the Children’s Album
