Episode 3: Food
In this episode of Collusion, we discuss the relationship between food, culture and power. The strong connection between food and identity means that it's been a frequent target of colonialist powers seeking to control different populations. We cover 'food neo-colonialism', looking at indigenous foods that have been co-opted by more powerful communities today, new food technologies aimed at addressing world hunger that sorely lack a holistic perspective of the role food plays in culture and food speculation.
