Grace in Spite of Ourselves
Religious life is often thought to be about following rules - rules to which, if we are honest - we can never really follow without falling and failing. The truth of the matter is that in Christ we live by grace. Grace is that which happens in spite of our failures; in spite of the odds; in spite of suffering; in spite of even death.
