LOCKED ON LAKERS -- 4/3/17 -- Did their win over the Grizzlies just cost the Lakers their lottery pick?

Yet again, the Los Angeles Lakers put their fan base in the precarious position having to go through the identity crisis that typically accompanies rooting against their favorite team. Beating a Memphis Grizzlies team even without Marc Gasol is a good win for the Lakers, especially as once again, the success came on the backs of their young core, but did it cost them the chance to add to that same young core? D’Angelo Russell played one of his better games of the year and had some interesting comments after the game, so we discuss that plus how important public relations is if he wants to continue to work towards being the face of the franchise. As I was out for most of the weekend, Harrison caught me up on everything I might’ve missed, including a pretty asinine take on this year’s rookie class. Turns out not playing in one’s rookie season is actually better for the narrative sounding them than making it through the season fully intact.
