Remembering Jonathan Demme
Robert Jonathan Demme was an American filmmaker, producer and screenwriter, known for his work on Silence of the Lambs, Philadephia, and the innovative concert movie about The Talking Heads called Stop Making Sense. He was a friend of the show, a listener and a caller.
Demme passed away yesterday, and for our tribute to his legacy, here's that time he called in to a segment we did in July of 2013 on the decision to close the legendary Hoboken venue, Maxwell's.
