Jarin Love is a Los Angeles-based DJ, promoter and tastemaker-in-the-making, who’s leaving her indelible impression on Southern California nightlife. Since making the jump to the pro DJ circuit in 2012, Jarin Love has elevated the local scene to national acclaim through her unique bookings with cutting-edge artists and talent as well as her own future-forward sets and performances. A multi-faceted creative, Jarin Love has amassed an impressive list of accomplishments and accolades in a matter of three short years. As a current artist on Deepaura Music, a leading underground label in southern California, she pushes deep cuts and hustles bouncy tracks, which hark back to the golden age of house and techno. She also rolls with the Modern Disco Ambassadors crew, an events and promotions collective that hosts regular events and party series across Los Angeles and Orange County, as a resident DJ at their weekly club night at La Cave in Costa Mesa, CA. Jarin Love is also an ambassador for Los Angeles nightlife institution Exchange LA, a world-renowned venue and one of the most celebrated clubs in the US, voted #4 in America by the iconic clubbing and electronic culture publication, DJ Mag. For over three years, she worked the rounds at Exchange LA, learning the business and wearing multiple hats as promoter, VIP host and DJ late into the midnight hours every weekend. She built a reputation on the club circuit through her dedication at Exchange LA, but more importantly, she began to cultivate her own following through her regular duties behind the decks. Through her unique style and riveting sets, she quickly caught the undivided attention of the industry and fans alike and eventually became a resident DJ at Exchange LA, the first and only woman to hold that role at the venue. She’s since opened the club’s main stage for a number of dance music heavyweights and fellow up-and-comers, from rising house star Sonny Fodera (Defected Records), trance favorites Gareth Emery and Ørjan Nilsen, Mat Zo, and the Anjunabeats family, all performances that reflect her versatility as a DJ as well as her wide-spanning and diverse musical styles. Elsewhere, she’s also performed at numerous events and venues all across Southern California including Kitsch Bar (Like.Minded), Deepaura Desert Gathering, Subsurface, Avalon in Hollywood, Re:Love in the Park and more. As one of the fastest-rising female DJs in Los Angeles, Jarin Love also champions equality and social awareness through respect, recognition, and celebration of all people, no matter gender or background. A proud mother of three kids, she’s raised her children surrounded by the infectious positivity of the local dance community and looks to spread the love to those in her circle and beyond. “I want to set the bar for other female DJs all across our nation,” says Jarin Love. “I want to tell them to never give up and to follow their dreams.
