Day three of the third test saw Australian captain and the number one ranked batsman in the world Steve Smith score a 22nd Test hundred. He’s gone past a 1000 runs in this calendar year. He’s now scored 18 hundreds in his last 37 tests in which he’s averaged 70 plus. You could even describe those figures as Bradman like … But even if comparisons with the Don may be far-fetched, it is possible to make comparisons with the way they played.
