we talk about the Portland Timbers more than a St. Pauli podcast really ought to, but not without reason. The concept of a Fanladen in North America is, quite literally a foreign notion. However, the 107ist has a fanladen that serves as the hub for the Timbers Army and Rose City Riveters: a community center to gather, buy merch, taken in the club’s history, trade patches and even have a pint of local craft.
We chat with Abram Goldman-Armstrong to talk about his history with FCSP, and some of the things that took root in Portland, Soccer City USA. Thanks to Joshua R. Duder for his participation and support making this chat happen.
