Take 2 Episode 1: NEIPA – Welcome Back
WE ARE BACK!
For those of you that have been wondering what happened to us, well short answer, a lot! In April 2017 near the brink of Daan’s move to New Orleans, Joe and Shawn, decided that it was time to focus on their family and building the FN Brew Club and hang up their microphones. Daan knew he wasn’t done with the podcast.
Well Fermentation Nation is back! While we are continuing with the FN name, I (Daan) think it is fair to call this take 2. I do not want to draw any light from what Shawn started and what Joe, Shawn and I build FN to become.
In this very very very rough episode FN2.0 is back behind the mic with 2 familiar voices and 2 new voices as we now record from the heart of Nawlins, Louisiana. Welcome to the Podcast Robert Bostick and Charles Hall and welcome back Aaron Braun (sound dude) as we bring new episodes to your ears. Beyond the introductions, we cover a few topics including Green Flash, Wicked Weed and new BJCP styles as we dive in to a new style for the BJCP2018 guidelines N.E. IPA. Again we apologize for the rough audio, we are relearning how we do this, so please don’t hate us to much, we promise to get better at this.
