We are joined by Rainer Groh, PhD MEng, Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol.
We talk through all aspects of Rainer’s role as a research engineer, along with his view of the sector and how the UK can maximise its aerospace footprint in an international sector that is seeing significant growth.
We talk about the role of science and engineering and how lessons from nature influence innovation and design. There is even some discussion about the passion for aerospace and the ‘fascination of flight’.
