Ep: 138 How To Create Incentives For People To Work And Profit Together with Kevin Monaghan


Kevin Monaghan is the owner of Intuitive Compensation Group. Intuitive Compensation Group works with business owners who have an All-Star employee that is key to running the organization, improves the bottom line, and would be extremely important to a buyer if you were to sell.
As an Area Manager, he co-built a consulting firm in Shanghai China from start up to the top in his industry. That lead Kevin to receive multiple offers from competitors and the opportunity to start his own firm. Instead, Kevin learned the hard way through a failed profit sharing and equity program. On top of that, when the firm sold… Kevin watched the valuation drop over 60% for the owners because there was nothing in place to retain himself and the other manager… Who both left. In addition, Kevin has a background in comedy and worked in the writers room for NBC’s “the Office” and “Parks & Recreation” and Kevin sites his business and comedy background as an important factor that separates them from the pack, as conversations with key employees and implementing plans to keep them, can be nerve wrecking as a lot at stake for both sides.
