Welcome to our fifth podcast of 2015 from Merseyrail Sound Station, recorded at Tankfield Studios with our host Jay Hynd. In these monthly podcasts we bring you all you need to know about the most exciting new music in the Merseyside area. For May's instalment we've got a LIVERPOOL SOUND CITY festival special, with all the music coming from artists playing this year's festival: STEALING SHEEP, STRANGE COLLECTIVE, DAVE MCCABE AND THE RAMIFICATIONS and SPRING KING. Plus we have yet another fantastic live session, this time with SHE DREW THE GUN, who is the winner of the Critic's Choice Award with the #NewWirralSounds project between ourselves, Farm Feast and Bido Lito!. And Bido Lito! magazine's Craig G Pennington joins us as usual to look ahead to some great live music coming up in the area in May and June, as well as looking in depth at Sound City (21st-24th May).
