Episode 06 - Lethal Weapon

Catching Up on Lethal Weapon

On March 6, 1987, the 'buddy cop' genre was refined to near-perfect with the Shane Black-penned, Richard Donner-helmed film Lethal Weapon. Starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover doing some of the best work of their careers, Lethal Weapon was a hit with critics and audiences and went on to spawn three, count 'em, THREE sequels. But while its action and humor is great, Lethal Weapon really works because of the relationship between its two main characters: Riggs and Murtaugh.

Join the Missing Frames crew as Alex watches this action classic for the first time, and they determine once and for all whether or not it qualifies as a Christmas movie.
