He discussed how healthcare treatments work in real world practice, pulling examples from a soon-to-be published paper looking at the effectiveness of statin drug use after heart attacks. Dr. Brooks serves as the director of the Center for Rehabilitation and Reconstructive Sciences at the University of South Carolina. 2nd Tuesdays. Guests 21 and up are welcome. Free.
