episode 249: Conversations with BART MASTRONARDI, Director of TALES OF POE and VINDICATION

And Now For Something
Completely Different...

Please enjoy this casual conversation I had with out gay horror filmmaker BART MASTRONARDI recorded just before Halloween. This is the first in a series of interviews I'll be doing with the people behind some of the movies featured in during this year's COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN POD-A-THON.

During our insightful chat, we discuss some of the behind-the-scenes stories of the making of TALES OF POE, featured in  Episode 227, how he managed to wrangle all of those fantastic 80's horror legends into doing it, his encounter with CLIVE BARKER over Bart's film VINDICATION, his on-going friendship with his Queen, ADRIENNE KING and much, much more.

Be sure to stay tuned after the episode for a big and CURIOUSLY GOOD announcement about an upcoming ScreamQueenz spinoff podcast!

Check out Bart's fabulous photography (and his sizzlin' hot models!) at BART MASTRONARDI PHOTOGRAPHY.
