“Because women are more cruel, don’t you think?” He sneers at Elsa. Of course. That is why we don’t meet that often anymore. All the magic in the world aside, he is becoming more and more of a jealous asshole. He cannot get between me and Elsa.

I wish I could tell him to just fuck himself and go back to his little prison. We have become so different over the last ten years. He has a real job. Perhaps that is what makes him become more just plain cruel. And I am a plain bore hanging out with Donovan’s gang and the promise of never growing old. Elsa is getting old. Fifty in two years. We are drifting apart.
