Hailing Frequency #70 - Tonnes of STO News, Zinkievich Interview and more!
We are very happy to announce that Episode Number 70 of Hailing Frequency is hereby released, recorded to a live audience on Sunday 6th September 2009. This episode sets both a record and milestone for Hailing Frequency - it is our 100th Audio Production since 2005, meaning we have released a total of 70 full length podcasts and 30 shorter special episodes such as interviews, road reports, etc. This is also possibly the longest episode of Hailing Frequency which will ever occur, running a whopping two hours and ten minutes. You might be asking yourself - what could they possibly have spent two hours and ten minutes talking about and the answered lies in the fact that we have just had the busiest period of Star Trek Online News - EVER!. Cryptic Studios attended Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle this weekend, taking with them the first ever publicly playable demo of Star Trek Online and Hailing Frequency (with the help of Tamgros and Vmann from AoA) were there to cover it. We released almost thirty high def photos of Star Trek Online, an 8 minute gameplay video and a 20 minute video interview with Craig Zinkevich. In addition, information about Star Trek Online was coming from dozens of other sources, so we discuss everything we have learnt over the past two weeks about Star Trek Online in this bumper show.
