National Lampoon Presents The Final Edition Radio Hour

The Final Edition Radio Hour is digital age radio theatre, sizzling satire in the tradition of National Lampoon, South Park, and Spy Magazine. It's writer-driven, ferociously disrespectful comedy from a West Coast team led by executive producer Barry Lank. It was created by original editor of National Lampoon, discoverer of Belushi and Chase, and star of "This Is Spinal Tap," Tony Hendra, and his partner, Jeff Kreisler, bestselling author of the satire "Get Rich Cheating" and "Dollars & Sense," TV guy and winner of the Bill Hicks Spirit Award for Thought Provoking Comedy. Enjoy!

American Things

We start with a musical indirect nod to President’s Day. Then Ben has collected some of the lies that Millennials tell each other. Dominique reveals her inner thoughts - which I’d always wondered about. We have kind of an all-American section at the end, with Keith bringing the new Mary Poppins and Joe bemoaning the new Disney. And in the first half of the show, possibly our first crowd-sourced sketch - which came from a post on Facebook, and ended up being written by more than a dozen people.
