Lessons for Living (Audio)

In the book of James it states: 'God resists the PROUD, but gives GRACE to the humble.' And then in the book of Proverbs, we learn that 'Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.' You see, PRIDE...isn't a good thing. Especially when that PRIDE...is in OURSELVES. First and foremost, we have to understand that we are NOTHING without God. He is our Creator. And it's by HIS GRACE that we're made able to utilize the gifts and talents we've been given. We have no business accepting the glory for what HE is doing in our lives.
