1153 Play My Music 17

Welcome to the 17th edition of our very popular series Play My Music.

Play My Music gives all of our listeners an opportunity to have their music or performances heard by our millions of listeners all over the world.

First we will hear from a favorite of our listeners everywhere, tenor Ernest Revell.  We will hear the love duet from Puccini’s “La Boheme”, “O soave fanciulla” as sung by Ernest Revell and soprano Justyna Giermola.  Playing piano accompaniment is David Maiullo.

You can learn more about Ernest Revell on his website at www.ErnestRevell.com.  To learn more about Justyna, please visit her website at www.JustynaGiermola.com

Also, of special interest to all of our listeners, Ernest has recently released his first CD “Ernest Revell, Tenor - In Concert,” which we will feature in a future broadcast.

Now we will hear Ernest Revell sing “E la solita storia del pastore” from Francesco Cilea’s opera “L’Arlesiana”

Now we will listen to “Idea Dramatica” composed and performed by Ves Christoff.  To learn more about Ves, please visit his website at www.VesChristoff.com

Dino Kalyvas, from Greece, wowed all of us on our last edition with “Spiro e Spero.”  For this edition of Play My Music Dino has submitted a new cross-over performance of Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma” as arranged and orchestrated by Akis Melis and published by PolyMusic.  Dino’s music is available for download on Itunes and Amazon.  You can also access his music at www.PolyMusic.net or on his Facebook site at www.Facebook.com/Kalyvas.Dino

Pianist Andree-Ann Deschenes is new to our musical family.  She is a pianist from Canada performing jazz, afro-latin and classical music.  She is currently serving as an adjunct faculty member at CSULA and has had the honor of performing with some of the finest musicians in the country.  To learn more about Andree-Ann, please visit her website at www.AADPiano.com.  Her music can be purchased on Amazon and Itunes.

From her CD entitled “Cervantes, Lecuona & Nazareth” we will be pleased to hear:

  • Los Tres Golpes
  • Gitanerias
  • Odeon

Our final track comes from another new member of our musical family, soprano Alessandra Paonessa.  Allessandra is a classical crossover soprano from Canada.  Her voice allows her to sing in a myriad of musical genres.  Allesandra will sing for us “Dolce Vento” from an Italian Opera composed by Chris Broom, arranged by Patrick Jonsson.  To learn more about Allessandra, please visit her website at www.AllessandraPaonessa.com.
