This month I spent a lot of time in Texas. First, it was off to Good Vibrations II where I saw a few old favorites and caught some new bands to get excited about (Tear Dungeon, call me). Following a week or two of recovering, it was time to head down to Denton, Tx and visit Mad World Records to blow that Christmas money. After avoiding some tornados and washing down a few dozen Tamales and Kolaches with Queso Dip it was back to Austin. I was able to stop by John Wesley Coleman’s annual family friendly secular holiday spectacular (in an old sex toy factory) and then hop over to catch Sin Motivo, who sings in Spanish. Note: today's hardcore kids have some new moves that are really impressive: they get low.
