At an early age, David was on the road working with his famous brother, offered the job to replace Buddy Holly after his fatal plane crash, and went on to record some of Country Music's greatest hits, including a song that initially failed at radio, but was made so popular in a Clint Eastwood movie, that it got a second chance on the air... and became a #1 hit.
