"Hoedown on the Harpeth" festival creators Robert Dunn and Tim Matthews talk about how their annual event based out of Kingston Springs Tennessee (about 30 miles NW of Nashville), has grown from a small pickin' party held at their homes, to what is now the 3rd annual festival, showcasing some of the best traditional country music industry's brightest artists.
This annual festival runs two days, spotlighting international, national and regional Country, Western Swing, and Bluegrass artists, along with fiddle competition, and campfire performances on the festival grounds after the stages go dark each night.
