Hurricane Dorian continues to be front and center in this week’s episode of the Disaster Podcast. Our disaster weather experts, Kyle Nelson and Becky DePodwin, both join us to talk about the hurricane’s impacts on the Bahamas an the forecasted path and expected impacts on the U.S. Southeast.
We bring in Dr. Joe Holley from the field where he is deployed with the Tennessee Task Force 1 USAR team. He talks about staging efforts to keep assets in place and what might be happening with a U.S. response to assist the Bahamas as needed on request.
