Our first honored guest of season 3. You may know him from the Sundance television series one Punk under God. He is the author of Son of a Preacher Man: My Search for Grace in the Shadows. Why did he write that? Maybe in part Because He is the son of televangelists Jim Bakker and Tammy Faye Bakker Messner. He’s also the author of Faith, Doubt, and Other Lines I've Crossed. & Fall to Grace: A Revolution of God, Self & Society.
