With Stanford Medical School  psychiatrist, Dr. David Daniels, she has written a major tome on the topic,  “The Enneagram, Relationships, and Intimacy: Understanding One Another Leads to Loving Better and Living More Fully.”On today’s show, she gives us an introductory understanding of the system, using the 16-year old environmental activist, Greta Thumberg, as an example of how it works, with particular reference to issues of righteous anger and shaming. Suzanne has also taken the Ennegram into the California prison system, helping hundreds of marginalized individuals process their deep traumas.One key difference with the Enneagram from say, Astrology, is that you ascertain your own personality type, rather than external factors, like your birthdate and location. So for example, Mrs. Future, though an Aries by birth, is actually a ‘7’, her ‘bon vivant’ personality traits revealed via the Enneagram.
