- The top way to change your approach to marketing and branding is to change the way you set priorities. You need to take the time to set a strategy that focuses on driving the most attention at the best price.

- The #1 mistake entrepreneurs are making in marketing today is investing in an agency to manage their social media posts. Those posts are better managed in-house, and that money is better spent on traffic driving Facebook ads.

- A top priority on your to do list should be to develop your message, find your voice, and understand how you differentiate yourself.

- The best reason to create content is to find your voice. Most people think creating content is about gaining subscribers. That's true in the long run, but short term your goal is to develop your voice so you can understand what you want to be "known" for.

- The three prong approach to personal branding is 1) Focus your message, 2) Build your community, and 3) Create impact in the lives of your customers. (This will be explained further in the next three episodes... stay tuned!)
