She has worked as a producer, programmer, venue manager, planner, project coordinator, senior lecturer for Cultural Management and now operates as a freelance consultant, educator and trainer. She has a particular interest in cross-sectoral working, organisational development, and curriculum design and delivery in the cultural management field. Sue Kay has an MA in Arts Management from City University in London and a PhD in Leadership Studies focusing on the day to day activities of managers in small scale theatre organisations. While she is now resident in France, she work mainly in Central and Eastern Europe, the Southern Mediterranean region and Nordic-Baltic countries.
