Neuromyelitis Optica Treatment (Neurology Recall June 2020)


In this replay of previous episodes, we features discussions on the treatment of neuromyelitis optica. We begin with Dr. Ted Burns' interview of Dr. Stacey Clardy from Dec. 2019 on treatment and prevention of disease activity. From October 2019, Dr. Stacey Clardy talks with Dr. Sean Pittock on eculizumab in aquaporin-4–positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder. The 3rd segment is from Nov. 2019 and features Dr. Clardy's talk with Dr. Silvia Tenembaum about prognostic indicators of improvement with therapeutic plasma exchange in pediatric demyelination.
