After Eight Show - 14/07/20

As usual, we had masses of #NewMusic in our playlist! An eclectic mix of original, intelligent, melodic, grown-up songs - #electronic, #rnb, #jazz, #blues and #acoustic. And mostly from artists who you have not heard of - yet! Our Luvva Cover was fascinating this week. Take a Cole Porter classic, written for a 1936 musical but made famous by Frank Sinatra and, later, the Four Seasons and then see what a French R&B singer (Ben l’Oncle Soul) makes of it. It's wonderful! Give it a listen and see if you agree. New Music That You Just Don't Hear Anywhere Else! Glass Casket - NNAMDÏ I’ve Got You Under My Skin – Virginia Bruce I’ve Got You Under My Skin – Ben L’Oncle Soul (Luvva Cover feature) Walking in Shadows – K37 Lemon Balm – Sun Kil Moon Coreto – Céu Afande – Skinshape, Idd Aziz I Wanna Be More – Feed Your Wolves Cherry Blossom – Michael Morrow and the Culprits It Hurts - Télépopmusik, Jo Wedin Ghost of Kodoku (Tycho Remix) – Tycho Endure – Kenneth Whalum
