They also learn about a man who sheltered protesters and another man who was at a retreat for the duration of most of the Covid-19 pandemic so far. They also learn how horseshoe crab blood is an essential ingredient for vaccines against Covid-19 and they learn about three creative projects that have arisen during the pandemic: a giant kookaburra sculpture, a 15-hour avant-garde piano recital, and a drive-in disco.
