The movie "Spotlight" won Best Picture at this year's Oscars. It tells the true story of a group of investigative journalists at The Boston Globe who uncovered child abuse allegations against priests in Boston and ultimately revealed a decades-long cover-up at the highest levels of the Catholic Church.
Two Boston Globe journalists discuss the film and their roles on the real Spotlight team: Walter "Robby'' Robinson, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter, now editor at large for The Boston Globe (portrayed by Michael Keaton) and Sacha Pfeiffer, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter, now columnist for The Boston Globe (portrayed by Rachel McAdams).
→ See the movie and meet the reporters: Columbia Journalism School is hosting a screening and a conversation tonight (March 25) at 6:30pm. More information here.
