MURDERED: Jill Dando

A survey conducted in 2009 demonstrated that there are around 4 million people in the US that wish to become famous. Fame is considered the dream, people feel like they’ve made it when they become famous. But really, is constantly being in the public eye really all that great? Whilst there’s the benefit of money and adoration by the public, when you’re recognised everywhere you go, it completely destroys your privacy and opens you up to the possibility of being stalked. Being famous makes you extremely vulnerable, people know where you are and what you’re doing on a daily basis. Constantly being in the public eye defies the human right of not being subjected to interference in your own home and privacy. Unfortunately, friends and family of Jill Dando know all too well of the disadvantages attached to becoming famous.
