New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called in to talk about minimum wage, paid family leave, community schools, and the state budget.
He was in a celebratory mood, explaining how proud he was that a $15 state-wide minimum wage passed in Albany.
He explained the campaign was dubbed the "Mario Cuomo economic justice campaign plan" because it was "the essence of what my father was all about...economic justice."
Governor Cuomo also explained how paid parental leave will work in New York, and ended by speaking out on gun legislation.
"The New York primary is relevant this year and that’s a good thing on a number of levels. One of the great services I think the NY primary could actually accomplish is, let’s take this issue of guns and let’s have an intelligent debate about it, because it is one of the essential differences between Clinton and Sanders."
