It's National Poetry Month! And what better way to celebrate than with four recent (local) Pulitzer Prize winners!
Over the course of the month, we'll hold "master classes" on the air with weekly mini-assignments, plus great conversations about the role of poetry in our lives.
First up, Vijay Seshadri, Brooklyn poet, professor at Sarah Lawrence College and winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize in Poetry for 3 Sections: Poems (Graywolf Press, 2013).
He also came with an assignment for all of you: write a short poem using these 3 restrictions. (Click here for the details + to submit a poem!)
