The Xtended team round off 2020 by taking a look back at the tenth anniversary of the Harrier’s UK retirement with Air Vice Marshal Gary Waterfall CBE, Joint Force Harrier’s last Commander.
Gareth interviewed Gary earlier this month to talk about the Harrier, the last few weeks of the aircraft’s service in the UK and why it is still making an impact on modern day VSTOL operations. The team then has a discussion about aviation icons, thanks to your suggestions on social media.
