Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel (Part 1) by Tavares

Label: Capitol 4270
Year: 1976
Condition: M
Price: $15.00

Simply one of the most sublime dance numbers of the late 1970's, working at the musical cusp where Philly Soul met Disco. I finally broke down and made an mp3 "snippet" of it, since I just don't hear it often enough... Enjoy! By the way, the A side is edited from a 6:32 album track. This single's B side has the rest, and I assure you: The best bits are on the A side. :-) Most of the B side is repetition, instrumental segments, and not-as-interesting vocal segments. As a former professional manuscript editor, let me just say "That's what good editing is for!" Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Capitol Records factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
