This week, The Entrepreneurial You podcast invites April Shprintz to share about her experience with generosity as a child and how it has impacted her life's work.

 

Here is a snippet of what April shared:

“I credit One individual with the generosity culture. She was the impetus for it. Even if I didn't understand it at the time, when I was nine years old. My mother had to go to rehab. She was given the option from her head of Human Resources where she worked. She could go to rehab for her alcoholism, or she was going to lose her job because it was causing problems at work and the woman who delivered that message to the head of Human Resources came to our home. It was just this extremely generous act on her part because not only did she give my mom that second chance, which was great. My mom did go to rehab. That was a  wonderful thing for her, but she also took a significant interest in me as a young girl.”
