episode 178: On the road at the Grand Tour

This week's episode finds Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and Daniel Friebe in the green room backstage at the Y Theatre, Leicester, before the ninth stage of their Grand Tour.

We recap the theatre tour so far and answer some of the questions posed by the audience that we didn't have time to get to on stage.

We also meet Stacy Snyder, the ceramist who has been making the beautiful cups for The Cycling Podcast during the grand tours. Stacy travelled over from Virginia to see the live event in London's Leicester Square and to meet the podcast team.

There's an appearance by Giro stage winner and co-host of our Service Course show Lizzy Banks and finally, we catch up with Colin Sturgess, former world professional pursuit champion, who joined us on stage at the Y Theatre in his home city, Leicester.

The Cycling Podcast is supported by Rapha and Science In Sport.

This week's episode is supported by Beer52. To order a case of eight beers plus two free beers (making ten!) for just the price of delivery, and to join the monthly beer club, go to beer52.com/cycle
