When Will The Rain Come by Troggs

Label: Fontana 1607
Year: 1968
Condition: M-
Price: $20.00

The A side may be their sensitive face, but the B side is another terrific garage/psych rocker. Have a listen to the mp3 "snippet" and see why I'd give this 45 2 stars even if "Love Is All Around" weren't on the A side. :-) Talk about growly Garage Rock at its best! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Fontana Records factory sleeve. Its labels and vinyl (styrene) look hardly touched, grading Mint on both counts. (This scan is a representative image from our archives. This copy looks even better than that, with no noticeable ringwear at all.) The audio is a different story, unfortunately. The A side has ever-so-slowly degrading audio in one channel, starting from stone Mint, resulting in an overall grade of strong EX. Fortunately for fans of the B side, its audio is pristine Mint (clearly, the single's owner didn't subject the B side to whatever equipment (tonearm, stylus) damaged the A side audio). The overall grade of M- for audio is an average of sides A & B.
