It’s okay for faith-based people to receive therapeutic services and psychiatric assistance. I wish they (meaning much more traditionalists in the pews, choir lofts, and pulpiteers) would mention the history of The Dead Sea Scrolls, the relationship between the Jesus Messiah story and that similar Christ figure story in other sacred traditions, the issue of social justice not seen as a form of Biblical justice in many Christian circles, the problem with being better at corporal punishment than protecting children, the explanation for most people proclaiming the beauty of sexual purity indeed are having a fornication history in their own lives, and the reasons for excluding the New Testament apocrypha. It’s not God’s job to be a Christian for Christians, it’s the Christians’ job to be a Christian for God. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/antonio-myers4/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/antonio-myers4/support
