WNYC and NYPR's Matt Katz, creator of The Christie Tracker and the author of American Governor: Chris Christie's Bridge to Redemption (Threshold Editions, 2016), and Kurt Flehinger, criminal defense and civil rights attorney, discuss the judicial role Donald Trump's sister could have in the court holdup of the Bridgegate conspirators list.
So what is Judge Maryanne Trump Barry like on the bench? Flehinger said she's right in the middle of Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Antonin Scalia. She's been pro-immigrant; she's been pro choice. "She's considered a real centrist judge, and it's kinda unpredictable how she's going to rule."
