IN THIS EPISODE: It’s #CreepypastaThursday, and I’m back with another fictional tale of horror – this time, from classic author Ambrose Bierce. Bierce was a journalist, satirist and, of course, a prolific writer of short stories. Bierce disappeared in Mexico in 1913 and although there has been much speculation about what happened to him, it is unlikely that anyone will ever learn the truth and his fate remains a mystery to this day. Something eerily appropriate for an author known for writing things of horror and the macabre. The story, "A Holy Terror" was first published in the December 23rd, 1882 issue of TheWasp (San Francisco).
