The fifth and final part in our four part series about the Persian Empire.
The problem with being an emperor is a lot of people will try to talk you into things. Even things you are pretty sure aren’t a good idea in the first place. But alas, sometimes you just have to give in. Which is how Xerxes found himself fighting a fight he didn’t want to fight, especially after he’d just found a good stopping place for all his other campaigns. Don’t quite see what we mean? You will after this episode of GM Word of the Week.
