The EU is discussing action against Belarus for diverting a plane flying over its territory to arrest a Belarusian opposition journalist. The incident has been branded a "hijacking". The Today programme heard from a friend of the journalist at the centre of the crisis, Roman Protasevich, former Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski and Commons Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Tom Tugendaht.
